Sheldon has never been the kind of person who enjoys holidays, and Christmas is no exception. While everyone around him embraces the season, he complains that Amy keeps forcing him into traditions he does not believe in. To Sheldon, the holiday feels unnecessary, emotional, and intrusive. He even admits that he wants to teach Amy a lesson for making him celebrate something he would rather ignore.
