I've been a fan of Y&R for over 20 years. I've seen characters come and go, storylines twist and turn. But the one constant has always been the incredible talent and dedication of the actors. Camryn Grimes is no exception. She has brought so much life and depth to Mariah, and I can't wait to see what this next chapter holds for her, both personally and professionally. This news makes me so nostalgic and hopeful for the future of the show. I really hope they do justice to both Camryn and Mariah, and handle this storyline with grace and sensitivity. It’s an opportunity to show real-life challenges and joys, and I’m excited to see where they take it.

I'm so over the predictable storylines. If they just send Mariah off to visit her “mother,” I’m done. They need to be more creative and write this pregnancy into the storyline. It's 2024! LGBTQ+ families are a reality, and Y&R has the chance to show that in a positive and inclusive way. If they mess this up, it’s a huge missed opportunity. They need to step up their game and show us they’re not stuck in the dark ages.
