This reminds me of when I did theatre in college. We had all sorts of weird rules to help us get into character. Nothing as intense as Downton Abbey, but still, it really helped. One time, our director made us live like our characters for a whole week – talk like them, dress like them, everything. It was exhausting, but it definitely brought a new level of depth to our performances. It makes you realize how much the little things matter.

No gadgets? Talk about a digital detox! Bet they were more present than most people are today. It makes you think about our constant connection and how it impacts our lives. While I admire the dedication, I'm a bit skeptical. Is it truly necessary to go to such extremes? It feels a bit performative, like they're trying too hard. I mean, I understand the desire for authenticity, but sometimes I wonder if these strict rules hinder the actors' ability to, you know, act. Maybe it's just me, but it feels a bit gimmicky.
