Season 3 feels a bit like watching a childhood friend change their favorite color. It's still them, still Bridgerton, but the shift in focus to Eloise and Phillip feels like a departure from the familiar warmth of Daphne and Simon, and the playful tension of Anthony and Kate. I'm cautiously optimistic, but a part of me misses the days when Daphne would shoot longing glances across the ballroom. Nevertheless, I'm strapping in for the ride, hoping to be surprised and captivated, much like I was in previous seasons.

This reminds me of the time my grandma tried to set me up with her neighbor's son. He was a nice guy, don't get me wrong, but we had absolutely nothing in common! Just like Eloise and Phillip, we were an unlikely pair. Maybe that's why I'm a bit apprehensive about this season. I just hope it doesn't turn into a matchmaking disaster!
