It speaks to the complexities of family relationships, and how love can sometimes blind us to the flaws of those closest to us. I’ve been there, desperately wanting to believe the best in someone, even when the evidence points to the contrary. This storyline makes me think of the saying, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions." Summer's trying to help her mom, but she's going about it all wrong. She’s becoming a real “Karen” demanding to speak to the manager of her own life, except the manager is fate, and fate isn’t taking calls right now. It’s a classic Greek tragedy in soap opera form, with a dash of Gen Z drama sprinkled in. What could go wrong? Everything, probably. Anyone else placing bets on how long before she hits rock bottom? I'm guessing three episodes, tops.

Remember when Summer was the sweet, innocent one? Those days are long gone. Now she’s turning into a mini-Victor, ruthless and manipulative. Ironic, given her disdain for him. It’s like she’s becoming everything she hates. This Shakespearean fall from grace is captivating, but it makes me wonder: are we destined to repeat our parents' mistakes, no matter how hard we try to break the cycle?
