Singer-songwriter Jane Marczewski, better known as Nightbirde, starred in the 16th season of America’s Got Talent, earning Simon Cowell's Golden Buzzer with her song “It’s OK”. Unfortunately, her battle with cancer, which began with a breast cancer diagnosis in 2017, forced her to withdraw from the competition. Despite a brief remission, her cancer returned in 2019, eventually spreading to her lungs, spine, and liver by 2021. Sadly, Marczewski’s courageous fight ended with her passing on February 20, 2022, at just 31 years old.
