As a longtime fan, I remember feeling utterly blindsided by George's departure. One minute he was this awkward intern finding his footing, and the next, he was a selfless hero tragically losing his life. It was heartbreaking. While I understand that actors have the prerogative to pursue other opportunities, I couldn't shake the feeling that George's story had been cut short. I often wonder what could have been, what personal and professional triumphs he might have achieved if given the chance.

George's death was a pivotal moment in the series. It highlighted the fragility of life and the emotional toll of working in such a high-pressure environment. However, I always felt it was a disservice to his character. He deserved a more fitting end, one that honored his journey and the impact he had on his fellow surgeons. Instead, his demise felt abrupt and almost disrespectful, leaving a void that lingered throughout the following seasons.

The writers really said "let's traumatize everyone" and chose violence when they decided to kill off George. They couldn't even give him a peaceful death in a hospital bed? Nope, had to get hit by a bus. Tragic, but also, come on! 😩😭

To be honest, framing this as "unraveling the mystery" feels a bit disrespectful. A man died, and whether or not it was the actor's choice to leave, it's not exactly a game of Clue.
