This whole time travel thing reminds me of a situation in my own life. Years ago, I made a huge decision to move across the country, leaving behind everything I knew. It felt like stepping through a portal into a whole new world, just like Claire. While I couldn't physically travel through time, it certainly felt like a journey through different versions of myself. The challenges and triumphs I experienced shaped who I am today, much like the impact of time travel on the characters in Outlander.

Seriously though, why can't Jamie time travel? It seems arbitrary and unfair. They've built up this elaborate system of rules but left a huge loophole. It’s like having a magical car that only half the family can drive - frustrating! It weakens the overall plot and makes me question the writers’ choices. It diminishes the impact of certain storylines and feels like a missed opportunity for more compelling character development.

I always get so caught up in the history of it all. I find myself constantly Googling locations and events to learn more. It's really enriched my understanding of that time period. Outlander does a wonderful job of transporting you to another era and making you feel like you're right there alongside the characters. It makes learning about history fun and engaging.
