In the ongoing episode of Young Sheldon Season 6, the storyline for Georgie (Montana Jordan) and Mandy (Emily Osment) seems to parallel that of Penny (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) from The Big Bang Theory. Initially broken up due to an unexpected pregnancy, Mandy and Georgie are slowly starting to mend their relationship, with Georgie showing kindness and support to Mandy reminiscent of Leonard's treatment of Penny.
