Walter White, the seemingly mild-mannered chemistry teacher, slowly morphs into the notorious meth-cooking alter ego Heisenberg in Breaking Bad. His first murders occur in the first season, where he takes the lives of Emilio and Krazy-8. Walter's body count dramatically rises in the second season, where he indirectly causes a tragic plane crash resulting in 167 fatalities. Season three sees Walter killing three people, including Gale Boetticher, to protect him and his partner, Jesse. To achieve his master plan of killing Gus Fring, Walter uses a pipe bomb and continues his gruesome rampage by killing two of Gus' henchmen. With his persona as Heisenberg fully emerged, Walter doesn't hesitate to kill Mike Ehrmantraut and eliminates anyone who could potentially identify him to authorities. Hank Schrader's death revealed the true horror Walter caused and shattered his family. His final act of violence was using a machine gun to annihilate all major antagonists, among them the detestable Lydia, and avenging Hank's death. The final life taken was his own, succumbing to injuries he inflicted on himself.
